GROUNDS MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE

FULL TIME CONTRACT COMMENCING 1ST JANUARY 2019

Wymondham Town Council has an opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and community spirited individual to join our Grounds Maintenance Staff.  The successful applicant’s primary duties will be to undertake routine grounds maintenance work on playing fields, open spaces, allotments, cemetery, wildlife sites, and other areas owned by the Town Council.  Maintenance work includes grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting, pruning, litter picking and bin emptying.

This is a full time position (37 hrs per week) and candidates should ideally have experience of working in this sector with a proven track record of using mechanical machinery and be able to act in a polite and helpful manner with all aspects of work connected with the public.

Salary will be NJS Scale 17 (£18,672).
